From design vision to completed facility, we are pleased to share the completion photos of The Squirrels Short Breaks Centre.

This marks the second specialist short breaks scheme Neilcott has delivered for Surrey County Council, building on our experience of creating safe, accessible and welcoming environments tailored to the needs of their users.

The new single storey facility provides eight accessible ensuite bedrooms, communal accommodation, staff facilities and welcoming external spaces for working age adults with learning disabilities and autism.

Designed to feel comfortable and homely, the centre also includes accessible bathrooms, ceiling hoists, landscaped gardens, decking, a trampoline area and woodland space.

Sustainability has been built into the scheme through timber frame construction, photovoltaic panels, air source heat pumps, mechanical ventilation with heat recovery, highly insulated building fabric, tree protection and bird boxes.
