Upgrade works at Canning Town Old Library to modernise the Grade II listed building and bring it back into use as a cultural and creative space for the London Borough of Newham. The works include a new roof extension, improved accessibility, a conservation-standard archive store, replacement building services, fabric upgrades and a Category A fit-out, while carefully protecting the building’s heritage features.
