The King Offa & Norman Close project, situated in urban St Albans involved the design and construction of 14 new homes on a two-part site, including the former King Offa Public House and an adjacent strip of land previously used for temporary accommodation. The scheme has delivered a mix of housing, including a two-bedroom wheelchair-adapted bungalow, two four-bedroom detached homes and eleven three-bedroom homes. The timber-framed dwellings feature pitched roofs, concrete tile finishes, brickwork elevations, UPVC windows and air source heat pumps to provide sustainable heating.Â
