Project Completion: Coveham Supported Independent Living Accomodation
We’re happy to announce the successful completion of the Coveham Supported Independent Living scheme for Surrey County Council. A thoughtfully designed development that provides safe, modern and energy‑efficient homes for individuals with disabilities and/or mental health needs.
The project delivers two 2‑storey apartment buildings, each containing six self‑contained one‑bedroom flats and a welcoming communal lounge. Externally, residents benefit from communal gardens, reinforced grass nature trails, cycle storage, and dedicated parking.
A key focus of the design was ensuring privacy and harmony with neighbouring homes, achieved through careful building orientation and soft landscaping that creates clear but sensitive boundaries.
The homes have been built to meet LETI energy performance standards, reducing heat loss, improving airtightness and lowering carbon emissions – supporting both sustainability goals and long‑term affordability for residents.
A huge thank‑you to everyone involved in delivering this much‑needed community asset. We’re delighted to hand over a high‑quality environment that will support residents’ independence and wellbeing for years to come.
