We are thrilled to announce the completion of the Emily Lodge Supported Living Accommodation for Surrey County Council!

✅ Key Features of the Project:

➡️ Modern Living Spaces: The new accommodation offers a comfortable and supportive environment tailored to the needs of its residents. The state-of-the-art short breaks provides respite to families of adults with complex needs. Giving families an opportunity to take a break from their caring responsibilities to focus on themselves, while their loved one is supported by experts in an enriching environment.

➡️ Sustainable Design: The project focuses on energy-efficient solutions and sustainability, ensuring long-term benefits for both the environment and the community. Incorporating renewable energy sources, including solar PV panels and air source heat pumps. Lighting and heating are controlled via smart devices, while underfloor heating and the use of natural building materials ensure comfort and wellbeing.

➡️ Enhanced Accessibility: Designed with accessibility in mind, Emily Lodge enables residents to live with independence while having access to the necessary care and support. The new facility features 8 en-suite bedrooms, designed to be fully accessible to wheelchair users and suitable for those with complex needs.

✅ The site also includes a communal lounge, dining areas, a sensory room and landscaped gardens for enjoyment and relaxation. The design of the gardens reflects the surrounding woodland, including native plantings and wildlife-friendly features.

📢 The short breaks service will be operated by Surrey-based social care provider Surrey Choices, on behalf of the council.
