Project Completion
Delivered across a live university campus, this transformative project has enhanced accessibility, functionality and visitor experience, while respecting the heritage of the surrounding Grade I and Grade II listed buildings.
Works included new landscaping, paving, seating, lighting and biodiverse planting within the Main Quad, alongside refurbished multifunctional spaces, improved step-free access, a new lift and upgraded building services within the Wilkins Building.
Sustainability has remained central throughout, with:
🌳 All existing trees retained
🪨 60% of the original stone paving reused on site
🧱 Three tonnes of reclaimed bricks incorporated into the completed works
The result is an inclusive, welcoming and practical environment, ready to support the landmark university & its continued growth.
