Women In Construction Week & International Womens Day 2026

💜 Celebrating Women in Construction Week 💜

To mark Women in Construction Week and International Women’s Day, we sat down with several of the incredible women across our teams, including our Social Value Manager, Sustainability Manager, Assistant Site Manager, and Design Manager, to hear their perspectives on the industry, their career journeys, and the changes they’re driving every day.

We’re shining a spotlight on the brilliant women who make Neilcott what it is – leaders, problem-solvers, creatives, innovators, and role models across every part of our business.

Kawsar, our Social Value Manager, leads the charge in turning our projects into long-lasting, meaningful benefits for the communities we work in. She coordinates everything from local employment & skills initiatives to school workshops, charity partnerships, community engagement events & volunteering. Ensuring that our commitments are not just met, but genuinely benefit local community.

Sustainability Manager, Leila, plays a central role in helping Neilcott deliver projects that are environmentally responsible, compliant & aligned with clients’ sustainability expectations. Her work touches every stage of the project lifecycle, from preconstruction strategy to site delivery & legacy.

Design Manager, Charley, coordinates the technical, architectural & engineering aspects of our projects. Ensuring that design are buildable, compliant, cost-effective & aligned with client expectations, all whilst keeping the programme & procurement needs on track.

Site Manager, Libby, is responsible for leading the day-to-day delivery on-site, ensuring safety, quality, programme & client satisfaction are all achieved. Libby’s role is fast-paced, hands-on & absolutely critical to how we build.
