St George’s Hospital, situated in Tooting, is one of the UK’s principal teaching hospitals, training medical students and carrying out advanced medical research, whilst also providing general tertiary and specialist care for complex injuries and illnesses. The new ward provides a 22-bed facility, 4 individual side rooms with ensuites and toilet and shower facilities in a HTM/HBN compliant environment. This required services infrastructure upgrades, which formed a critical element of the works.
