The YMCA St Paul’s Group required a new state-of-the-art YMCA building, replacing their previous provision at 200 The Broadway, which urgently required modernisation. The project comprised of the demolition of the previous YMCA building, site clearance and remediation followed by the design and construction of a new mixed use 9-storey YMCA scheme, including a basement for plant. The scheme consists of 121 ensuite bedrooms in clusters with shared kitchen/dining space and communal lounge, health and wellbeing facilities including a fully-fitted gym and fitness studio, a children’s area and office suite.
