Duke Street Transforming a former retail space into a modern workplace within a historic listed building. Listed building refurbishment Commercial office fit out Constrained urban logistics Client:Pentland Group Contract:JCT Intermediate Value:£5m Transformation of a former Lacoste retail unit into a modern, functional office space. The refurbishment included an open-plan workspace, private office, meeting booth, kitchenette and upgraded mechanical and electrical services. Working within a listed building in a constrained urban location, the team carefully coordinated deliveries, managed logistical challenges and incorporated sustainable features, including an air-source heat pump, sustainably sourced timber and the refurbishment and reuse of existing doors. UEL Summer Works 23 Refurbishment, fit out and external landscaping within a live University campus Tfl liaison Complex logistics Sculpture installation Client:University of East London Contract:JCT D&B Value:£2.7m Refurbishment, reconfiguration and fit out of a range of buildings/areas at the Docklands Campus (including AVA Buildings, Library, Knowledge Dock, East Building, Sports Dock), as well as the installation of the ‘Timeless Flight’ sculpture and associated landscaping works. Works included demolition and installation of internal partitions, installation of new M&E systems, joinery, finishes, fixtures fittings and furnishings. Alongside installation of artwork, vinyl’s and signage externally as part of the Active Campus scheme. “Throughout the project, Neilcott responded promptly and efficiently and were extremely accommodating with last minute changes to various elements in the programme. Refurbishment and fit out works to the lower floor of the Tait building, with installation of new partitions and new glazing. As well as works for Abacus House, including new desks, new reception area, fixed computer benching and minor modifications to power and data.
