Basement Party Wall Structural Alterations Client: Columbia Threadneedle Contract: Project and Building ConsultancyValue: £3.5m Comprehensive refurbishment of the existing building to provide Grade A office space with a contemporary look and feel. The project involved a complicated structural “cut and carve” to relocate the central core and lifts, in order to provide improved space utilisation on each floor as well as a new glazed walkway to link the front and rear buildings and enclose the previous external courtyard.
