Our team rolled up their sleeves to refresh the junior sailing shed, repaint the anchor, bench and entrance gate – giving the space a much-needed lift ahead of a busy season. A small contribution that makes a real difference to a fantastic community club supporting young people and families to get active on the water.

Topping Out Ceremony for Bromley North Housing

News & Views Topping Out Ceremony for Bromley North Housing Back to news & views A brilliant milestone for our Bromley North scheme as we celebrated the official topping out of the development, marking the completion of the building’s highest point and recognising the hard work of everyone involved so far. The day brought together project partners, council representatives and our delivery team for speeches, a rooftop walk-through, and a look ahead at the next stages of the internal works. Guests were welcomed on site before joining us for an overview of project progress, followed by a tour across the upper floors and finally onto the roof for the ceremonial photo moment – personalised golden trowel included! It was a pleasure to host the Mayor and councillors as part of the celebrations, and to share insight into our ongoing social value contributions and the wider benefits this project will bring to the Bromley community. Thank you to everyone who joined us & we look forward to the next phase as the building begins to take shape internally.

Project Completion: Coveham Supported Independent Living

News & Views Coveham SIL Completed Back to news & views Project Completion: Coveham Supported Independent Living Accomodation We’re happy to announce the successful completion of the Coveham Supported Independent Living scheme for Surrey County Council. A thoughtfully designed development that provides safe, modern and energy‑efficient homes for individuals with disabilities and/or mental health needs. The project delivers two 2‑storey apartment buildings, each containing six self‑contained one‑bedroom flats and a welcoming communal lounge. Externally, residents benefit from communal gardens,  reinforced grass nature trails, cycle storage, and dedicated parking. A key focus of the design was ensuring privacy and harmony with neighbouring homes, achieved through careful building orientation and soft landscaping that creates clear but sensitive boundaries. The homes have been built to meet LETI energy performance standards, reducing heat loss, improving airtightness and lowering carbon emissions – supporting both sustainability goals and long‑term affordability for residents. A huge thank‑you to everyone involved in delivering this much‑needed community asset. We’re delighted to hand over a high‑quality environment that will support residents’ independence and wellbeing for years to come.

News & Views Stonepillow & Neilcott Back to news & views Raising Money & Collecting Donations for Stonepillow 📢 Contributing to our Social Value offer for our Alexandra Theatre Project in Bognor Regis, the Neilcott team & our brilliant supply chain has raised an incredible £2,000 for Stonepillow. Every pound will go towards Stone Pillow’s Winter Appeal, helping provide warm, safe accommodation and vital support to people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness across Chichester and Bognor Regis. The support didn’t stop there. Our team at Neilcott Construction Limited Head Office also rallied behind Stonepillow food collection, donating a car full of dry food, children’s nappies, and £250 worth of toiletries from Boots essentials that will make a real difference this winter.I also had the pleasure of presenting the cheque to Stonepillow alongside Mayor Cllr Gill Yeates at Stone Pillow’s donation hub an incredibly proud moment that shows what’s possible when businesses and communities come together. ❓ What is Stonepillow? ➡️ Stonepillow is a non-profit organisation that offers shelter, information and support to empower homeless and vulnerable people to make positive changes in their lives. ✅ At Neilcott we are always looking for ways to give back to the communities in which we work & understand the importance of delivering meaningful social value across our schemes.
