News & Views Project Completion Back to news & views Project Completion Photos: UCL Main Quad & Wilkins Building Delivered across a live university campus, this transformative project has enhanced accessibility, functionality and visitor experience, while respecting the heritage of the surrounding Grade I and Grade II listed buildings. Works included new landscaping, paving, seating, lighting and biodiverse planting within the Main Quad, alongside refurbished multifunctional spaces, improved step-free access, a new lift and upgraded building services within the Wilkins Building. Sustainability has remained central throughout, with:🌳 All existing trees retained🪨 60% of the original stone paving reused on site 🧱 Three tonnes of reclaimed bricks incorporated into the completed works The result is an inclusive, welcoming and practical environment, ready to support the landmark university & its continued growth. News & Views Project Completion Back to news & views Project Completion: Reigate Fire Station for Surrey County Council Project Completion Alert | Reigate Fire Station for Surrey County Council The new carbon-neutral, purpose-built facility has been designed to meet the needs of modern firefighting crews and the communities they serve. Alongside its fire crew, the station also provides dedicated space for the South East Coast Ambulance Service. Facilities include a new kitchen, gym, lounge, private rest rooms and showers, with a gender neutral design supporting a modern and inclusive working environment. Sustainability is central to the new station, with an all electric energy solution, air to water heat pumps and 92 photovoltaic panels contributing to building performance. News & Views First Foundations Ceremony Back to news & views Celebrating Progress at North London Hospice Project milestone | First foundations at North London Hospice  We were pleased to join the team at North London Hospice to mark the first foundations ceremony for its new Inpatient Unit at Woodside Avenue. The occasion was made even more special by the attendance of North London Hospice Ambassador Michelle Collins and the Worshipful Mayor of Barnet, Councillor Zahra Beg, who joined representatives from the hospice and project team to celebrate this important milestone. Part of North London Hospice’s Building for Tomorrow project, the works will create a modern, sustainable facility designed around the comfort, dignity and changing care needs of patients and their families. The redeveloped unit will provide larger bedrooms, accessible en-suite facilities, improved space for visitors and staff, and better access to the hospice’s gardens and courtyard. It was a privilege to celebrate this milestone with the hospice team and everyone helping to bring its plans to life.
